Steam Next Fest is currently active through Oct. 26, showcasing over 8,000 titles. Valve has identified the 20 most popular demos from the event, noting a strong trend toward multiplayer experiences and shopkeeping simulations.

Funcore Games' Worst Class Ever leads the interest with over 300,000 demo players. This asymmetrical game tasks students with causing mischief while avoiding a teacher controlled by another player. Meanwhile, GamesMrkt's Fart Together offers a physics-based cooperative experience where players navigate hazards using flatulence, with an Early Access launch scheduled for Oct. 29.

Other notable titles include the survival FPS Frostrail from FakeFish, which features resource scavenging on a train, and the cozy MMO Loftia, which applies life-sim mechanics to a shared world. Additionally, the shopkeeping sim Probably Stolen, developed by Questing Goose Studio and tinyBuild, incorporates decision-making elements similar to Papers, Please and arrives on Oct. 28.

The event also highlights niche titles like the competitive sports game just volleyball, launching Nov. 4, and the desktop companion game Character House, which allows users to customize chibi characters. While some titles like ArcheAge Chronicles remain without a specific Early Access date, many of these popular demos are slated for release before the end of 2026.
