Blizzard has announced a new round of class tuning for World of Warcraft Midnight, scheduled to arrive with the weekly maintenance on Tuesday October 27. These adjustments follow the recent release of patch 12.1.5 and precede the upcoming 12.2 update, Eclipse.
The update provides significant PvE buffs to several classes. Feral Druids and Fire Mages receive a 5% damage increase, while Restoration Druids gain substantial healing improvements, including a 60% boost to Verdancy. Marksmanship Hunters see area damage enhancements, and Warlocks receive damage increases for Unstable Affliction and Rain of Fire.
Subtlety Rogues face the only PvE nerf in this update. Blizzard is reducing their ability damage by 8% and lowering the Trickster: Fazed bonus from 7% to 5%. The developer stated that previous compensation buffs provided in patch 12.1.5 exceeded expectations, necessitating this rollback.
Separate adjustments are slated for PvP combat. Buffs are being applied to classes including Devourer Demon Hunters, Preservation Evokers, and Holy Paladins, while Unholy Death Knights and Fire Mages will experience nerfs. Players are encouraged to review the full list before the changes take effect.
