Cygames will release the new card pack Deicide in Nacreheim for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond on October 28. This expansion introduces the Evidence keyword, allowing all classes to utilize Evidence amulets for unique tactical gameplay.
The Royal class receives the 6-cost follower Peace-Loving Connoisseur. This card features a unique ability that triggers while in hand: whenever a player acts an Evidence amulet, the follower gains +1/+0 and swaps its attack and health. This mechanic allows players to adjust the card's stats dynamically based on the board state.
The follower also boasts a Fanfare ability that summons two Innocent Newspaper Sellers, copying the Connoisseur's current stats. Upon evolution, it grants Bane to all other allied followers. The author notes that while the card is specialized, its versatility in board control and stat manipulation makes it a potential core for the new Evidence-based archetype.
With the rotation of the Azure Six Dragons pack, key 6-cost cards like Zeta & Beatrix and Golden Knight will exit the format. The author suggests that while the Connoisseur's role as a replacement for these staples remains uncertain, its high power level and synergy with other revealed cards like Cheeky Designer and No-Life Detective suggest a strong future for the Evidence-Royal deck.
