A content creator named Dantics has shared alleged details regarding a cancelled BioWare project titled Mass Effect Universe. Dantics claims he served on a BioWare community council and provided feedback on the title, which was reportedly set over 600 years following the Reaper War.

The game would have featured a galactic Cold War involving three major factions, including a Council alliance and the Geth as a third superpower. Players were to control a customizable N7 agent, described as a blend of John Wick and James Bond, equipped with experimental technology for hacking and environmental manipulation.

Gameplay was intended to offer handcrafted missions with Hitman-style freedom, featuring brutal executions and complex squad dynamics. Dantics noted that Liara would have returned as an Asari Matriarch, and the narrative would have preserved Shepard’s legacy regardless of previous player choices.

While Dantics praised the project as incredible, these claims remain unconfirmed by BioWare or EA. The existence of an internal trailer for the cancelled game has been verified, following industry-wide job cuts that impacted several EA-owned studios.
