Developer SHIFT UP has officially unveiled a major update for Goddess of Victory: Nikke to celebrate its fourth anniversary. The update, titled MARIA-n, introduces the new SSR Pilgrim Nikke Marian: Queen and expands the main storyline with chapters 49 and 50. These chapters focus on the Third Surface Reclamation War, featuring new bosses Nostalgia and Goddess of Victory.
The update introduces distinct combat mechanics for new characters. Marian: Queen, available via special recruitment on October 29, excels at periodic multi-target attacks and self-buffing burst skills. Additionally, Red Hood: Godslayer arrives on November 5, utilizing piercing attacks and burst-enhanced firepower. Players can also obtain the support character Rapunzel: Sanctuary through a 14-day login event and story activities.
Beyond standard combat, the anniversary includes the FADING AFFECTION mini-game and a dedicated story event centered on Marian. The developers have also produced a special interview video to address long-standing narrative questions. To celebrate the milestone, players can redeem codes such as ToTheFrontline and ReclaimTheSurface, with additional rewards distributed via in-game mail following the October 29 maintenance.
The anniversary festivities extend to an offline exhibition held at the Huashan 1914 Creative Park in Taipei on November 7 and 8. The event will showcase four years of content updates and provide limited-edition gifts for attendees while supplies last. The digital update rollout begins on October 29.
