Riot Games has announced that the 2XKO roster is now complete. The final champion, Sett, will join Samira in Patch 1.3.3, scheduled for release on October 27, 2026. This update marks the final major content addition for the fighting game.
Sett’s inclusion was an ambitious internal project. Originally slated for mid-2027, a small team known as the Sett-pod accelerated his production starting in February 2026. The team successfully developed a playable model and kit prototype within two weeks, meeting a strict July deadline to ensure his quality matched existing champions.
The release of Sett and Samira fulfills the studio's 2026 goal of adding six new champions to the game. While active development is set to conclude in December 2026, the studio confirmed that servers will remain online and existing gameplay content will be unlocked for players.
Following the October 27 patch, the studio has scheduled a minor balance and bug-fix update, version 1.3.3b, for November 12. Additionally, the Battle Coliseum Major event is slated to run from November 20 to November 22, with official studio communications ending on November 6.
