Spike Chunsoft has officially released updated PC system requirements for Danganronpa 2×2. This revision follows initial specifications shared in mid-September 2026, which many gamers criticized as unreasonable for a visual novel title.
The updated hardware requirements now list an Intel Core i5-10500 or Ryzen 5 2600X processor. For graphics, the developer specifies a range of options including the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, RTX 2060, or RTX 3060, alongside AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT, RX 6600, or RX 6600 XT cards.
Regarding storage, the game requires 30 GB of free space, with an SSD recommended. Users installing the Digital Deluxe application will need a total of 40 GB of storage capacity.
In a lighthearted social media post, Spike Chunsoft acknowledged the previous confusion. The company joked that these updated requirements ensure players do not need to purchase additional RAM given current market pricing.
