Developer zenZeroSim has officially launched the Steam store page for Zen House: Zed Zero Simulator. This title is described as an ultimate simulator designed for doing nothing, intended to amplify existential anxiety while wasting time.
The gameplay experience focuses on observing a house situated in a grassy field. Players encounter no enemies, stress, or complex controls, leaving only the player, the house, and a sense of void. The game features dynamic leveling that increases as players sit and gaze into the abyss, turning wasted time into digital metrics.
Visual elements include cinematic camera angles for viewing the house and a dreamlike sky that changes over time. While the developer notes the grass is rendered with high detail, there is no player intervention possible regarding the weather or environment. The game serves to remind players of the outside world they are currently avoiding.
