Indie Devil has announced that Nomad Drive, a survival game focused on repairing a dilapidated camper to traverse a post-apocalyptic landscape, will launch in early access on October 28. The title supports both solo play and online cooperative multiplayer for up to four participants.
Players must scavenge for scattered vehicle parts to assemble their transport before embarking on their journey. The game features a procedurally generated world where starting points and experiences shift with each session, requiring players to explore diverse biomes to secure essential resources.
The camper serves as both a mobile home and a base of operations. Users can upgrade mechanical components and customize the interior with various furniture and appliances, including stoves, refrigerators, and toilets. Survival mechanics are integrated into daily life, allowing players to fish, cook meals, brew coffee, and cultivate crops in onboard planters.
The developer expects the early access phase to last between 6 and 12 months, utilizing community feedback to refine the experience. While core features like vehicle maintenance and survival management are currently functional, the version 1.0 release aims to introduce additional biomes, expanded customization options, and a deeper crafting system.
