Key information
The Army Painter has officially partnered with Dungeons & Dragons to launch a new initiative aimed at integrating miniature painting into the tabletop experience. Supported by Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro, this collaboration seeks to help players bring their characters and creatures to life through creative expression.
Central to this partnership is the Forgotten Pigments Collection, which features paints and accessories inspired by iconic D&D artwork and lore. According to Brand Commander Adam Abramowicz, the collection is designed to make painting accessible for those who have never used a paintbrush, allowing fans to personalize their tabletop encounters.
To support newcomers, the companies introduced the D&D Paint Academy. This educational platform provides tutorials ranging from basic techniques to class-based guides. The program also involves the Factory Team and Blackwater DnD to help educate and welcome players into the hobby.
The initiative was announced at SPIEL Essen, with further product details expected in the coming months. Interested individuals can currently sign up at thearmypainter.com to receive early access to educational content and future reveals regarding the Forgotten Pigments line.
