Spin Master has announced a new collaboration with Paramount Pictures for its upcoming trading card game, Hellbreak. This partnership integrates iconic horror properties from the Paramount Scares portfolio into the game's expanding monster universe.
The inaugural set, launching in January 2027, will feature over 200 cards. Players can utilize characters and settings from films such as A Quiet Place, Sleepy Hollow, and Smile, alongside content from Universal Pictures and Horror Inc.
Developed alongside Ghost Galaxy, the game focuses on brutal head-to-head combat between legendary monsters. Spin Master President Doug Wadleigh stated that incorporating these specific horror entities aims to elevate the strategic deck-building experience for players.
The game will be available at hobby shops and Amazon starting January 2027. Future expansions are planned to include additional characters from studios like Blumhouse, Lionsgate, and AMC Global Media.
