Key information
Shift Up has officially announced a collaboration between its title Stellar Blade and Blizzard's Overwatch. The partnership was teased on the official Stellar Blade X account on the 23rd through an image featuring the EVE Protocol and Overwatch logos.
While the announcement confirms the upcoming crossover, specific details regarding participating characters or new in-game content remain undisclosed at this time. The developer has previously integrated content from Nier: Automata and Goddess of Victory: Nikke, which included cosmetic items, boss battles, and mini-games.
Additionally, four Bayonetta-themed outfits for EVE are scheduled for release on November 6. These items will be provided for free across the PlayStation 5, PC, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version will launch as a Complete Edition, bundling the base game with previous DLCs and exclusive bonuses. Furthermore, Shift Up is currently developing a sequel titled Stellar Blade: Blood Rain, which will feature a new protagonist named Ibi.
