Ubisoft officially confirmed that a New Game+ mode is arriving for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced next week. The announcement, shared via the official Assassin's Creed X account, follows a commitment made by the publisher back in July after the title surpassed 3 million total sales.

While specific details regarding the mode remain unconfirmed, the developer has not yet clarified if player gear or character upgrades will carry over into the new playthrough. Game director Richard Knight previously noted that the team prioritized this feature, describing the implementation as relatively low risk due to the existing framework utilized in Assassin's Creed Shadows.

The title has seen significant commercial success since its July 9 launch, reaching 2 million units sold within the first 24 hours. By the end of its initial two weeks, the game achieved 3.5 million sales, effectively surpassing Ubisoft's internal projections for the entire year.

This update aims to provide additional incentive for players to revisit the Caribbean setting. Industry reports suggest that the performance of this release is linked to the future of the publisher's remake strategy, with an Assassin's Creed 1 project potentially following this title.
