Ice-Pick Lodge and HypeTrain Digital have officially launched The Great October Update for Pathologic 3. This release introduces a variety of new features and technical refinements aimed at enhancing the overall experience for players.
The update adds a Photo Mode equipped with weather presets and stickers for customization. Players can now choose between Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulty settings. Additionally, the developers have implemented in-game subtitles for voice-over and provided new methods for players to handle encounters with the Shabnak.
Technical improvements include optimizations for Steam Deck and better performance on lower-end CPUs. The patch also addresses over 100 bugs, specifically targeting quests, dialogue, and branching story outcomes throughout the game's 12-day duration.
Further quality-of-life adjustments have been made to the game's interface, controls, and map navigation. The update also introduces support for ultrawide monitors and includes various refinements to audio and game balance.
