Key information

South Korean indie developer Concord has officially scheduled the release of its mystery action-adventure title, Graytail, for late 2027. The game follows a detective suffering from severe headaches who teams up with a missing pilot's daughter to investigate her disappearance in the Pacific.

Gameplay involves using a cane as a primary weapon alongside secondary tools like umbrellas and frisbees. Players must navigate five distinct regions by motorcycle and solve puzzles by combining weapons with environmental objects. The title features a 2.5D aesthetic and is currently in development by a two-person team.

Concord secured development funding from Outersloth, an indie fund established by the creators of Among Us, with additional backing from Mega Crit Games' Casey Yano and an anonymous partner. These resources are intended to refine the combat system and increase the density of the game's narrative and regions.

Graytail will launch on PC via Steam and Xbox Series X/S, supporting Xbox Play Anywhere. While the current demo holds a 98% positive rating on Steam, it will be removed in November 2026 to make way for a future version showcasing the updated combat mechanics.
