Spanish publisher Meridiem Games has officially released physical editions of the metroidvania title MIO: Memories in Orbit. The game is now available for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Players control MIO, a small robot navigating the Ark, a massive biomechanical space structure. The gameplay involves exploring diverse environments, solving mysteries, and acquiring new abilities. The title is noted for its dreamlike aesthetic, which draws inspiration from European comics, painting, and Japanese animation.

Vandal's review praised the game as a beautiful and satisfying metroidvania, highlighting the movement of the protagonist and the interconnected level design. Despite receiving mostly positive reviews on Steam since its January 2026 debut, the developer, Douze Dixiemes, was closed by publisher Focus Entertainment due to poor sales performance.

The physical release includes the complete game on the disc or cartridge. The first 2000 units per platform feature a reversible cover, while subsequent batches will use standard artwork. All versions are region-free, allowing them to function on consoles regardless of the region.
