The Masquerade of Liars event has officially returned to Neverwinter, offering players a seasonal experience focused on factional participation rather than combat. Participants can engage in the festivities without needing to draw weapons against other players.
Players must select one of three factions to represent while completing daily quests and locating tricksters within game hubs. Participants are required to wear a special mask throughout these activities to collect treats. This year features the returning Denizens of the Deep and Porcelain Patricians, alongside a new faction called Highway Robbery, which is led by the Headless Horseman.
The winning faction will receive a Masquerade Veil Choice Pack containing masks for all three active teams, replacing the previous reward of a single illusion mask. Losing factions are granted a consolation prize of 200 event tokens. Additionally, players can acquire new head illusions through event vendors or lockboxes, with items from past iterations also available.
The event is currently active and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, November 5th.
