With the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI approaching in just weeks, fitness company PureGym has introduced a series of thumb-focused workouts. Personal trainer David Hope designed these routines to serve as warm-ups for players before they begin their gaming sessions.
The suggested regimen includes tapping each finger with the thumb, transitioning from an open hand to a fist, and performing finger pushups by pressing fingertips against the floor. PureGym recommends repeating each of these three movements 10 times, both before playing and after concluding a long session.
Trainer David Hope justifies these preparations by noting that hands and thumbs perform the primary labor during gaming, while the remainder of the body remains largely sedentary. He suggests that warming up for gaming is as logical as preparing for a run or a traditional gym workout.
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19. Ahead of this date, fans can visit Miami's Kaseya Center to experience food from the game, as the arena currently hosts a Burger Shot and Cluckin' Bell.
