Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have released survey findings and development plans for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember following the September 2026 alpha trial. The test allowed players to experience combat at the Changban battleground alongside Liu Bei's forces.
The development team is adjusting core mechanics to encourage aggressive playstyles. Updates include improved input recognition for the Insight Skill, a rebalancing of the Spirit gauge, and increased damage output for both Martial Arts and Wizardry Spells.
Technical refinements are also underway to enhance the overall experience. The studio is focusing on optimizing performance, sharpening graphical fidelity, and decreasing loading times across all supported platforms.
The title is scheduled for release on March 4, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch, with pre-orders for standard and digital deluxe editions now open.
