Kokenawa Holdings announced that an official AR event titled AR Mecha Chameleon will take place at Aeon Mall Kochi on October 24 and 25. This event promotes the game Mecha Chameleon, which is currently slated for PC and Nintendo Switch 2.
The core gameplay of Mecha Chameleon involves painting characters to blend into backgrounds during hide-and-seek. During this event, attendees use their smartphones to draw colors and patterns on characters, which are then hidden within the scenery of large panels at the venue using augmented reality technology.
Participants take on the role of the seeker, using their mobile devices to locate other players' hidden characters. While no reservations or app installations are required, users must complete a pre-registration process on their smartphones and pay an entry fee at the venue reception.
Attendees will receive an electronic trading card featuring their custom-painted character. To claim this digital item, participants are required to sign up for a free iFav CLUB account.
