The Genshin Impact 7.2 Special Program confirmed that the upcoming update will launch on November 4, 2026. This patch introduces new characters, a continuation of the Archon Quest, and various limited-time events.
Players will encounter the new five-star Electro catalyst user Mitya and the four-star Electro claymore wielder Valeriy when the update goes live. Additionally, the patch features a Furina rerun, followed by Linnea and Zibai in the second phase. A new Chronicled Wish banner will include Chasca, Kinich, Mualani, Varesa, and Xilonen alongside their signature weapons.
The Archon Quest storyline progresses in Snezhnaya with the "Hour of Ruin" chapter, focusing on the Tsaritza and Fatui Harbingers. This narrative expansion adds the Where Kristall Roots Run Deep region and a new Wavebinder boss.
Genshin Impact is playable on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and mobile devices. Players can earn 300 Primogems by participating in promotional activities like ExpertMitya and PhotoTime before the update releases.
