Blizzard is hosting a special event for World of Warcraft: Forever as the beta test nears its conclusion. The event, which began 24 hours before the beta ends on October 23 at 2 AM, aims to provide players with a unique experience by deviating from standard gameplay rules.
During this period, players can obtain Heroic and Legendary gear simply by defeating regular monsters, bypassing the usual requirements of high-difficulty raids or complex crafting. Furthermore, some high-tier equipment now lacks level restrictions, allowing low-level characters to wield powerful legendary weapons.
The event features monster invasions across various regions, including Dun Morogh, Elwynn Forest, and Durotar, where Hellfire Infernals fall from the sky. Additionally, powerful world bosses like Kazzak have appeared near Orgrimmar, creating chaotic combat scenarios for players.
Blizzard clarified that these mechanics and items are exclusive to this celebration. The developer explicitly noted that these special rules and high-tier drop rates will not carry over to the official service, distinguishing this as a temporary, one-time event.
