Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has partnered with Kairosoft to release a new title titled One Piece: Grand Gourmet. This unexpected project features the Straw Hat Pirates and tasks players with assisting Sanji in building his dream restaurant.
The gameplay centers on the Baratie Number Two, where players join Luffy and his crew on a culinary journey. After defeating an impostor attempting to mimic the original Baratie, players must restore the restaurant's reputation by gathering ingredients, creating unique recipes, and increasing their popularity among customers.
Players can prepare iconic dishes and serve over 400 characters from the series. The game features locations such as the Kingdom of Alabasta, the Land of Wano, and Elbaph. Users can customize their establishment with various furniture and decorations, unlocking special interactions and memorable character moments as the business expands.
One Piece: Grand Gourmet is currently available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. To mark the launch, series creator Eiichiro Oda noted that he was told he could not play the game because it would make him too excited.
