The Indian indie title Dodo Duckie, a platformer featuring a duck with perspective-shifting abilities, has officially launched on Game Pass Premium. Developer BornMonkie announced the inclusion of their project on the subscription service via LinkedIn.
The game centers on unique mechanics involving perspective-shifting powers. BornMonkie, a bootstrapped studio, developed the title with limited marketing resources, eventually securing support through the ID@Xbox Developer Acceleration Program.
BornMonkie noted that while initial reviews were kind, the studio struggled with discoverability since the game's July launch. They believe the Game Pass integration addresses this hurdle by exposing the title to a broader audience that might otherwise overlook it.
Dodo Duckie is currently available on PC and Xbox, supporting the Xbox Play Anywhere program. For those preferring a direct purchase, the game is priced at ₹350 on both Steam and the Xbox storefront.
