Square Enix announced a collaboration between the upcoming game Dragon Quest Monsters 4: Kareki no Kuni no Bianca Flora and the children's book series Zannen na Ikimono Ziten. This project, titled Zannen na Mamono Ziten, highlights the unexpected and somewhat unfortunate ecological traits of various monsters.
The collaboration content is being shared sequentially via the official Dragon Quest PR account on X. The first entry focuses on the Metal King, showcasing its traits in the style of the book series, which has reached a cumulative circulation of 555万 copies.
Dragon Quest Monsters 4 is an RPG where players act as monster masters, befriending, raising, and breeding creatures to form parties. The game follows girls exploring a mysterious world. A demo is currently available, allowing players to experience the early Kareki region, including the new field scout mechanic, with the ability to transfer up to 8 monsters to the full game.
The title is scheduled for release on December 3 for PC, Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. The Steam version is set to launch on December 4.
