Key information
HoYoverse officially launched the 9.1 update for Honkai Impact 3rd, titled 'Shining Time,' on the 23rd. This release introduces the new S-rank character 'Herrscher of Time' alongside a variety of themed events and content updates.
The Herrscher of Time is an Imaginary-type character dealing fire elemental damage. Her combat mechanics involve the 'Reminiscence' skill to inflict past wounds and a unique system where HP reduction damage dealt by the party is recorded as 'Weight of Life,' which can be consumed for further damage. Players can access her themed supply with the first 10 pulls provided for free, alongside new signature drive core weapons and stigmata sets.
The update features the 'Meeting♪ Memory Toy House' event, where players manage an arcade with Elysia. This mode includes idle growth systems for leveling and equipment. Additionally, the main story Part 2 epilogue, 'The Sea Sings with the Sound of Flames,' allows players to revisit key moments from the perspective of the Dreamseeker.
Players can earn rewards such as Crystals, Source Prisms, and the 'Sweet Dream' costume for Star Traveler through these events. Beyond the in-game updates, HoYoverse announced a limited-time collaboration cafe featuring illustrations, scheduled to begin on October 31.
