Antistatic Studios has announced that the free prologue for its upcoming cooperative shooter, Phantom Line, will be released on Steam and the Epic Games Store on October 26, 2026. The game is set in a post-nuclear Europe where players join a special unit tasked with containing paranormal anomalies.
In this one-to-four player experience, participants operate within anomalous zones while navigating international conflicts involving mysterious corporations. The prologue focuses on investigating a silent research facility located in the Iron Corridor, allowing players to test core mechanics and exploration elements.
Following feedback from a March 2026 playtest, the developers have implemented significant updates. These include a shortened tutorial, overhauled gunplay, the addition of tactical reloading and magazine malfunctions, and general performance optimizations.
A preview of the prologue will be broadcast on the 4Gamer Twitch channel on October 24. Antistatic Studios, founded by industry veterans, aims to deliver an immersive experience centered on emergent gameplay and atmospheric storytelling.
