HJK GAMING announced the upcoming release of the HJK FIGHTSTICK, scheduled for early December. The controller is compatible with PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, with a retail price of 249.99 dollars. The company also noted that the initial limited-quantity pre-sale will include a 20 dollar discount.
The design process involved research into professional player preferences, incorporating specific feedback from players Eita and NL. The resulting layout features 12 buttons based on the VEWLIX arrangement, with all button assignments customizable via a web tool. Users can remove unused buttons and cover the holes with included caps to prevent accidental inputs.
Hardware features include Sanwa Denshi levers and proprietary HJKB-30 buttons with hot-swappable switches compatible with commercial low-profile alternatives. The chassis utilizes a damper-based opening mechanism for maintenance and includes a multi-function display for images or GIFs, alongside customizable RGB lighting. The unit is tilted at a 2-degree angle for ergonomics.
Connectivity is provided via a detachable USB cable that secures to the chassis to ensure stability. While officially supporting PC and Switch platforms, HJK GAMING reports that the device functions on PlayStation 5 when using certain converters. The controller also includes a 3.5mm headphone jack.
