The logistics company Oderco has reported the theft of two pallets containing Zotac NVIDIA RTX 5090 graphics cards at the Guarulhos International Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The stolen hardware is valued at approximately 2.5 million Brazilian reais, which converts to roughly 440,000 euros.

Oderso Matos, the president of Oderco, stated that in his 38 years of experience in the transport industry, the company has never encountered such a situation. He has publicly questioned how a shipment of this significant value could vanish from a major international airport without any clear explanation.

Following the incident, Matos confirmed that the serial numbers for the missing graphics cards have been officially cancelled. Consequently, these specific units currently lack warranty coverage anywhere in the world.

The theft highlights the high market value of premium PC components, which are currently in high demand. Matos has expressed his intent to continue seeking answers regarding the security breach that allowed the disappearance of the cargo.
