S-Game has officially announced that its upcoming title, Phantom Blade Zero, will receive a physical disc release for PlayStation 5 in 2027. The developer confirmed that these physical copies will contain the actual game data on disc rather than relying on digital download codes.
The physical collection will be available in three distinct tiers. Players can choose between a standard edition, a deluxe edition featuring a digital artbook, soundtrack, and cosmetic items, or an ultimate edition. The ultimate version is set to include a collectible steelbook case, with additional contents to be revealed at a later date.
Phantom Blade Zero is a martial arts action RPG that incorporates soulslike mechanics. The development team consulted with actor Donnie Yen to integrate authentic martial arts techniques into the combat system. Recent demonstrations highlight a wuxia-punk aesthetic, showcasing fast-paced melee strikes and acrobatic evasion maneuvers.
The game is slated for release on PC and PlayStation 5, with official support for the Korean language. While the physical PS5 edition is scheduled for 2027, the title is currently being prepared for its broader launch.
