Key information

Nintendo has announced that three distinct Game Boy titles are joining the Nintendo Switch Online library. The upcoming additions to the Game Boy Nintendo Classics collection include Moguranya, Pinball: 66 Hiki no Wani Daikoushin, and Phantasm.

Moguranya is an action-puzzle game released on July 21, 1996, produced by Shigeru Miyamoto. Players control a mole navigating over 200 stages by throwing black spheres to defeat enemies and break walls. Pinball: 66 Hiki no Wani Daikoushin, released by HAL Laboratory on October 18, 1989, features high-quality programming that influenced later titles like Kirby's Pinball.

Phantasm, a side-scrolling action game originally released by Jaleco on November 6, 1992, features a unique possession mechanic. The protagonist, having been shot, returns as a spirit to rescue his girlfriend by taking control of various enemies throughout the levels.

These titles will be available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers at no additional cost. While the original cartridge versions of Moguranya and the pinball title supported two-player modes, it remains unclear if these features are included in the new release. An official distribution date has not yet been announced.
