SteelSeries has officially unveiled the Sensei Pro and Rival Pro, marking the first high-end renewal of these iconic series since 2019. These wireless gaming mice feature the new Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, which utilizes the 7.25GHz to 9GHz spectrum to ensure stable, interference-free connectivity with a polling rate of up to 8,000Hz.
To support high-performance demands, the mice incorporate the Infinite Power System, a hot-swappable battery design. Each unit comes with two batteries, allowing users to charge one while using the other. This system provides up to 16 hours of battery life at an 8K polling rate or 60 hours at 1K. The design remains lightweight, with the Mini black model weighing just 49g.
Professional players from the SCARZ VALORANT team praised the UWB technology for its consistent connection and the battery system for its ease of use. Coach Art noted the lack of communication gaps compared to traditional mice, while player thiefy highlighted the convenience of quick battery swaps during gameplay.
The Sensei Pro and Rival Pro are priced at 33,310 yen each. Pre-orders began on October 22, with black models launching on November 20 and white versions following in mid-December. The package includes a charging base, extra PTFE skates, and grip tape.
