Square Enix officially announced that Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven has achieved a significant commercial milestone, surpassing one million units sold globally. This total figure accounts for both physical shipments and digital purchases of the title.
The company highlighted that this performance marks a notable achievement for the franchise. It is the first entry in the SaGa series to reach the one million unit threshold in 29 years, following the performance of SaGa Frontier.
The game is currently accessible across a wide range of platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Additionally, the title is available on PC via Steam and the Xbox platform, as well as on the Nintendo Switch 2.
To commemorate the sales success, Square Enix released celebratory artwork created by Yoshiro Ambe. The publisher expressed gratitude to the player base for their support in reaching this milestone.
