A developer known as PetracoreProxy has showcased a project that integrates characters from the Umamusume franchise into the environment of Forza Horizon 4. The demonstration features characters like Haru Urara and Agnes Tachyon racing through the roads of Great Britain.
The project utilizes assets directly sourced from Forza Horizon 4, including the map, buildings, roads, and weather systems. Meanwhile, the character models, animations, and voice lines are derived from Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
PetracoreProxy clarified that this creation is not a standard mod. Instead, the project was rebuilt within the Unity engine by leveraging AI technology to perform reverse engineering on the original game files.
The developer confirmed that this experiment will not be released to the public. The primary intent behind the project was to demonstrate the capabilities of AI in reverse engineering video games rather than creating a playable modification.
