VISUAL ARTS Scripts has announced that its upcoming all-ages visual novel, Tetsukai Josai no Haika, is scheduled for release on December 18. This title serves as the second project from the newly established brand, following the September 25 launch of Sayagatari.
The story follows Yuma Kuze, a self-interested archaeologist seeking residency on the island of Rakuen. While investigating a labyrinthine, ruined fortress known as the Iron Fortress on behalf of the Fujinami Kasei corporation, he encounters a mysterious girl named Haika who is searching for a treasure that will allow her to die.
The game features voice acting, with Saya Aizawa cast as Haika, Taibi Kimura as Yuma Kuze, and Ryunosuke Watanuki as Doman Fujinami. The production team includes scenario writer Dogokoji, who is making their game writing debut, illustrator chibi, and producers Toya Okano and Seiha Nakahara.
Tetsukai Josai no Haika will be available on PC via DLsite and DMM GAMES. The digital version is priced at 1200 yen, while a physical limited edition including a soundtrack, art materials, and a mini shikishi board will retail for 5280 yen.
