Feel Free Games has announced that the cozy adventure title Luma Island will launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on December 2. This console release will include all existing content, notably the Pirate Cove major update.
The game features a blend of farming, fishing, and base decoration alongside exploration of ancient temples filled with traps and treasures. Players can choose from eight distinct professions, such as archaeologist or blacksmith, which grant unique tools and recipes. Additionally, the experience offers three difficulty settings: a combat-free cozy mode, a balanced adventure mode, and a challenging hero mode.
Gameplay is designed for freedom, as there are no stamina gauges or inventory limits for activities like mining or construction. Players can also discover magical companions called Luma, which assist in finding hidden treasures throughout the world.
The console version introduces cross-play support, allowing up to four players to cooperate across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. While the PC version launched on November 20, 2024, and holds a 'Very Positive' rating on Steam, console players can currently add the title to their wishlists.
