Key information
A new miniature board game based on Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is currently in development. The project is being handled by Queti Tectonics, a studio specializing in science fiction robot miniature wargames and board games.
The upcoming title aims to translate the world and mechanical units of the original video game into an offline tabletop experience. Official details regarding the project were shared on the 22nd via the Japanese social media account for Ember: Obsidian Protocol.
This is not the first tabletop adaptation for the franchise. In 2025, Fujimi Dragonbook released a TRPG rulebook that focused on unit customization and mission completion, requiring players to manage energy resources during combat turns.
The original video game, developed by FromSoftware and Bandai Namco Entertainment, launched in August 2023 to critical acclaim for its deep customization and intense action. The board game adaptation is scheduled for release in 2027, with further information expected in the future.
