Wales Interactive and Curveball Games have announced that their cooperative horror title, Hazard Levels, will conclude its early access phase on November 12 with the release of the 1.0 build.
The game supports one to four players who must survive within rift dimensions. Gameplay features proximity voice chat and allows for both first-person and third-person perspectives. Players navigate procedurally generated environments that offer shifting terrain, random hazards, and evolving threats that demand team adaptation.
Mechanics include using a gravity gauntlet to manipulate objects and harvesting alien materials to sell at rift stations. Players must study creature behaviors, utilize rift scanners to detect anomalies, and deploy stabilization devices to open portals. Additionally, experimental cocktails crafted from rift materials can grant powerful abilities or cause unpredictable chaos.
Following the 1.0 launch, a physical edition for PlayStation 5 is scheduled for release on February 26 of next year. This physical version will include the Myths & Legends DLC as a standard inclusion.
