Cat Society has officially released the inn management strategy game Dungeon Inn on Steam. Previously available in early access, the title garnered a positive reception with 92% of 598 reviews being favorable. The full release concludes the story of protagonist Sara and her cat companions across 12 chapters, depicting one year of their business venture.
Players manage an inn located at the entrance of a dungeon, aiming to profit by serving two rival factions, the Sea Guild and the Mountain Guild. The core gameplay involves turn-based puzzle mechanics where players use signs, stalls, and drinks to manipulate the movement of adventurers. The primary challenge is to prevent members of the opposing guilds from meeting, as such encounters lead to fights that threaten the inn's reputation and potential closure.
The full version introduces new content, including a challenge mode, additional adventurer events, and a weather system featuring blizzards. Players can reinvest earnings into facility upgrades like gyms and cafes to attract more guests, though these improvements may also increase the frequency of operational troubles.
