Koei Tecmo Games published a feedback report on October 23, 2026, regarding the alpha demo for the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. The title is currently in development for PC, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The alpha demo was available from September 16 to September 30. Players explored the Changban open field, engaging in combat against the Cao Cao army and various demons while cooperating with the Liu Bei forces.
The report summarizes survey results covering weapon preferences, difficulty levels, and graphical performance. Based on this player data, the developer plans to refine the game by adjusting the balance of the Qi system and improving the complexity and success detection of the new Phoenix Arts mechanic.
In addition to gameplay adjustments, the studio is committed to enhancing overall graphical quality and optimizing loading speeds. These improvements aim to polish the experience before the final release of the game.
