Redlock Studio is set to launch the 1.0 version of its narrative adventure game Hypnos on Steam this 29th. The title, which is part of the Maze Chronicles universe, follows the player as they explore the Nameless City to locate a boy appearing in dreams.
The full release introduces significant content updates, including seven distinct chapters and four branching endings that shift based on player choices. Players will navigate a semi-open world, interacting with spirits, dreamers, and other-worldly entities while influencing the fates of the inhabitants of the Far Reaches.
During its five-month early access period, the game garnered a 'Very Positive' rating, with 95% of the 105 participating users providing favorable feedback. The atmosphere is further enhanced by a soundtrack composed by French artist ALT236, featuring a blend of ambient, retro, and dreamlike electronic music.
Following the PC debut, the developer plans to expand the game's availability later this year. Hypnos is scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in the second half of the year.
