G-Mode announced that Zoku Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken: Bokyaku no Maiso is scheduled for release on March 4, 2027. The title will be available on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.
The game serves as a full remake of the 1983 mystery adventure Portopia Renzoku Satsujin Jiken, originally created by Yuji Horii. Players investigate a locked-room suicide case involving a loan company president in Kobe, working alongside a junior detective named Yasu.
This remake updates the original visuals with illustrations by Kyoji Asano while maintaining the command-selection system. Under the supervision of Yuji Horii, the project adds five new investigation files featuring different perspectives and characters from Hokkaido Rensa Satsujin Ohotsuku ni Kiyu.
The digital version is priced at 4800 yen. Physical editions for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 cost 7678 yen and include the Famicom version of the original game. A limited edition priced at 9878 yen adds a booklet and soundtrack, with additional premium versions available through G-Mode's official store.
