Key information

Turkish solo developer HAPPYTECH has released a playable demo for the horror game The Sixth Sin as part of Steam Next Fest. The narrative centers on a tragic 1996 incident at an orphanage where 32 children died, with the game taking place 30 years after these events. Players return to the site carrying a single box to confront the spirits of the deceased children.

Gameplay mechanics emphasize resource management and tension. Players must navigate a grid-based inventory system while solving puzzles that occur in real-time without the ability to pause. A flashlight featuring a UV mode can affect the ghostly children, though battery power remains consistently scarce. Additionally, players must perform rituals by drawing sigils by hand and utilize mirrors to traverse between different locations.

The current demo provides approximately 25 to 35 minutes of gameplay and includes support for Korean subtitles. The title is scheduled for a full release on November 26.
