Key characters include Igor, who assists guests fulfilling contracts, and his attendant Margaret, who manages the Persona Compendium. The update also introduces Marie, a mysterious girl encountered in Yasoinaba who possesses a curious nature despite her blunt demeanor.
Mechanics within the Velvet Room allow players to perform Persona fusions, enabling skill inheritance and the potential for rare fusion accidents. Players can also purchase skill cards from Marie to teach specific abilities, which are then registered for future access. Additionally, the Fusion Forecast system provides information on specific conditions that grant powerful skills or stat boosts during synthesis.
Atlus will host nationwide demo events across five cities from November 14 to December 13, 2026. Attendees can choose between story-focused or dungeon-focused gameplay sessions. Furthermore, a Persona series 30th-anniversary quiz will be held from October 31 to November 1, covering titles ranging from Revelations: Persona to Persona 4 Revival.
