NewGem Studio has released a Halloween update for the free idle RPG TBH: Task Bar Hero. The game, which allows players to run gameplay directly within the Windows taskbar, features pixel characters that automatically hunt while users perform other tasks.
The update introduces new content including artifacts and artifact chests, which can be obtained in the Plague Lands and corrupted Act Boss areas. The number and type of artifacts a player can equip depend on the specific type of artifact chest they possess.
Several quality-of-life improvements were implemented, such as displaying drop rate bonuses for high-grade items in the Plague Lands and adding new related achievements. Additionally, players can now lock recipes during cube synthesis, and a new material storage DLC has been released.
