Key information

A new Fallout 4 mod adds a settlement named Detour, constructed on an overpass near Bedford Station. The expansion features over a dozen characters voiced by human actors, explicitly avoiding the use of artificial intelligence.

The town includes a faction known as the Detour Degens. While the group is small, consisting of only three members initially, players can interact with them by performing tasks such as tagging the town with the gang's logo and completing a heist mission to increase their reputation.

Gameplay mechanics involve various missions to improve standing within Detour, including assisting the local sheriff with bounties or recovering stolen goods for merchants. One specific quest involves liberating the gang's leader from a jail cell located near the group's turf.

Upon successfully completing the gang's criminal quest, the player is invited to join the Detour Degens, increasing the roster to four members and granting the player a leather jacket. The mod is currently available for download.
