AdHoc Studio marked the first anniversary of Dispatch, announcing that the title has reached five million players. To commemorate this milestone, the developer revealed several updates, including new gameplay modes and an upcoming expansion into the mobile market.
The game now features a Commentary mode, offering over 16 hours of insights from the production team and cast members like Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham, with audio tracks that adapt to player choices. Additionally, a Storyboard mode allows users to experience the narrative using the original sketch-style animations. These additions are free for Deluxe Edition owners, while others can purchase the update for 10,99 dollars, currently discounted by 20% on Steam and Xbox.
Dispatch is scheduled to arrive on iOS and Android on December 9. The mobile version has been rebuilt for touch controls and vertical play, offering the first four episodes for free, with the full experience priced at 19,99 dollars.
Physical Deluxe Editions are coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch 2, featuring a 16-page pocket guide, a double-sided poster, and a soundtrack code. Further celebrations include a live concert in Los Angeles on December 3, a hardcover art book titled Design Works arriving in 2027, and various giveaways running until November 22.
