Key information
Developer SkorpionDev has officially launched a playable demo for its upcoming PC title, Unharvest. The game is currently scheduled for a full release on December 8.
Unharvest is described as a reverse farming incremental game where players utilize a plague to destroy plant life. The primary objective involves spreading infection across various environments, such as wheat fields, until the land is completely desolate.
Players can enhance their plague through various upgrades that improve the speed and range of the infection. As the blight spreads, the game features dynamic changes to both the visual landscape and the audio environment, reflecting the destruction caused by the player.
Despite the destructive nature of the gameplay, the title incorporates calm, peaceful music. The developers also noted that the game will convey a mysterious narrative through the surrounding environment as players progress.
