Hearthstone has officially launched its latest expansion, Reign of the Black Empire. The update introduces a variety of new content, including complex naming conventions for its featured entities.
The expansion centers on four powerful old god cards: C’Thun, N’Zoth, Yogg-Saron, and Y’Shaarj. Each deity possesses four unique abilities capable of shifting combat outcomes, though players are restricted to including only one of these cards in any single deck.
New gameplay mechanics include the “assemble” keyword, allowing players to merge specific minions into stronger creations. Additionally, the expansion introduces Titan-forged cards, designed as strategic tools to counter the old gods.
