Netmarble has expanded its character collection RPG, The King of Fighters AFK, by introducing two new fighters: Angel (Spooky Night) and Heidern (KOF 2001). These additions coincide with the launch of several seasonal events designed to provide players with new gameplay opportunities.
The new fighter Angel (Spooky Night) features the [Solid] synergy, while Heidern (KOF 2001) utilizes the [Special] synergy. Players can obtain Heidern by utilizing the 'Proof of Growth' currency within the game's ranking event exchange shop.
The update includes the Pumpkin Festival, a main seasonal event running until November 4. Participants can engage in the Pumpkin Tower dungeon and Spooky Parade to earn fighter summon coins and other rewards. Additionally, the game introduces the new legend pet 'Phyris' alongside the returning legend pet 'Demonio'.
Netmarble is also hosting revival events for Mature (Spooky Night) and Iori (Spooky Night) until November 11, while adding a new treasure item called 'Fox Orb' for the LE fighter Mature. Furthermore, a Lucky Elpy event featuring the new legend supporter Yamada Jubei will take place from November 2 to November 6.
